OUR IMPACT TO DATE

We have been active in Peru since 2016 and supported the development of Oír Para Crecer (OPC), a local nonprofit organization founded by a Peruvian audiologist. Since then, OPC has grown into a leading provider of pediatric hearing care in the country. Recognizing that even mild hearing loss can affect a child’s learning and academic performance, OPC has screened more than 80,000 children across 135 schools.

We are currently overseeing two projects in three provinces of Peru, working with OPC to expand access to hearing screening, diagnosis, hearing aids and follow-up care. These projects build on years of collaboration and aim to strengthen local hearing-care services while reaching more children and families in underserved communities.
