2026 - NEW PROJECT ALERT

World Wide Hearing is excited to begin work in Kenya in 2026. This new effort will help open the door to hearing care for children and adults in Meru County. Our goal is simple: to make sure people can hear, communicate, learn, and fully participate in their communities.

This two-year project will move forward in close collaboration with CBM International, CBM Kenya and local partners, and in coordination with the county health authorities. Together we will focus on building strong, community-based services. This includes training nurses, teachers, and frontline health workers, establishing a diagnostic audiology center, integrating hearing screening in schools and health facilities, and improving access to assistive devices and specialized referrals. By also training health workers in rural areas, we ensure community development and the sustainability of hearing health services in non-urban areas.
