World Wide Hearing Executive Director Selected as 2013 Young International Leader of Quebec

We are pleased to announce that yesterday at the 36th annual provincial ARISTA awards, Audra Renyi, Executive Director of World Wide Hearing, was selected as the Young International Leader of Quebec for 2013. Read the press release here to learn more (in French only).

This award recognizes extraordinary success among young professionals in Quebec. Audra was chosen for her efforts to provide affordable hearing aids to children in developing countries, as well as her distinguished career in international development. This honor acknowledges the importance of World Wide Hearing’s mission to enable better hearing around the world and the potential of the Hearing Express model to change lives.

World Wide Hearing Chosen as 2013 Star in Global Health by Grand Challenges Canada

We are excited to announce that World Wide Hearing has been awarded a grant for over $100,000 from Grand Challenges Canada. Grand Challenges Canada, funded by the Government of Canada, is dedicated to supporting "bold ideas with big impact" in global health. We look forward to using this funding to launch the Hearing Express project in Jordan. World Wide Hearing would especially like to thank Gunnar Grass and Daniella Polar for their help throughout the grant application process. New Partnership with ESW - Stanford

World Wide Hearing and Engineers for a Sustainable World - Stanford are pleased to announce their collaboration on a sustainable development project in 2013. Students from the faculty of civil & environmental engineering at Stanford University will work together with World Wide Hearing to create a new mobile platform for its Hearing Express project to provide hearing aids to children & youth in developing countries.

Illustrate the Invisible Contest Deadline Extended!

We have decided to extend the deadline to enter the 2012 Illustrate the Invisible Contest. Artists and designers now have until September 30th to submit their entries for a chance to win $250 and have their work featured in a World Wide Hearing awareness campaign.
